Online talk: King Oswald’s Right Arm t:19:30

Find out why the right arm of the seventh-century king Oswald of Northumbria was one of the most precious possessions of the monks of Peterborough Abbey.

This talk by Dr Johanna Dale, a medieval historian at University College London, will trace the history of this relic, from Oswald’s death in 642 to the Reformation, when the arm was lost.
