An evening of live jazz and seasonal dining. Join us for the next jazz evening at the Grain Store to witness the acclaimed jazz singer and songwriter Jeanie Barton for a night of unforgettable vocal jazz music. With her warm stage presence and silky vocals, Jeanie will perform a hand-picked programme, effortlessly blending timeless songs with show-stopping classics from the great musicals as well as a selection of her own original songs. Expect elegance, storytelling and the spirit of jazz running through every note! Whether you’re a lifelong jazz lover or simply enjoy great live music, this promises to be a truly special evening. TIMED HALL ENTRY - TICKETS INCLUDE ACCESS TO THE HALL & GARDENS Begun in 1595 by Robert Smythson, one of England’s foremost Elizabethan Architects, Doddington Hall was completed in 1600 and has never been sold or cleared out since. An example of a fine late Elizabethan Mansion, it is still a lived-in and much loved family home, alive with history and interest. Over 400 years of unbroken family occupation has resulted in fascinating collections of furniture, weaponry, paintings, ceramics, textiles, household objects, porcelain and a wealth of amusing stories all to be found in and around Doddington Hall. A visit to Doddington offers a unique insight into family life through the ages and the challenges of looking after such an estate in the 21st century. Tickets are timed and we recommend pre-booking your preferred time slot to guarantee entry. You will need to show a copy of your e-ticket when entering via the Gatehouse. Our 12noon slot includes a 45 minute mini tour of the Hall at no additional charge. If you'd like a tour, please ensure you select this time slot. Free entry applies for Doddington Hall Season Ticket Holders and Historic Houses members. 50% off for Art Fund and 2 for 1 CPRE are accepted for the Hall. Please select the relevant ticket type. Valid cards must be shown at the Gatehouse along with e-tickets prior to entry. You are welcome to arrive and explore the Gardens anytime between 10am-4pm on the day of your visit. (Last entry to the Gardens 3pm). Please note that you are only able to gain entry into the Hall at your pre-booked time slot. Please make your way to the front of the Hall no earlier than two minutes before your allocated time to ensure entry. You will then be called through by a member of staff and be able to enjoy exploring the Hall. No large bags, only assistance dogs are allowed in the Hall and Gardens, photography, without a flash, is welcome. Toilets are open in the Gardens.
